 Annabells Attic Party Policies

Our parties are intended for children ages 4 and up. For safety reasons, children under 4 will not be permitted to use our supplies unless closely supervised by a parent or other adult. Many of our accessories are not suitable for children under 4.  We have provided service for many parties with guests under 4 years of age we just like parents to be aware that the attention span isn't always the same, but we will of course do our best to engage guests age 3 and up. 

All packages are based on 24 hour rental with the exception of our slumber parties. These times are flexible, if you feel you need additional time, please ask, we will do our best to accommodate all requests. For hosted parties Please note – Because our parties are scheduled events it’s important that all guests arrive on time. If a guest arrives late, they will join the party already in progress.

 All costumes are designed to be worn over the child’s own clothes. For this reason we do suggest that the children wear a leotard, or bathing suit for best fit under the costumes. Some of our themes include light make-up application as indicated in our party descriptions. Please make sure that parents are aware of this fact.  The client is responsible to: 

Provide adequate seating and table space for refreshments

Provide the party refreshments

Provide a safe and clean area for dress-up, activities, and eating

Provide access to an electrical outlet for music/equipment

Remain with the party. While we work to encourage good behavior we require your attendance for the duration of the function. In the case of a behavior problem or other unforeseen circumstance ie upset tummy, the child will need to be attended to by you or a helper. We are responsible for hosting your party and engaging the children in constant activity and our efforts must remain focused on the service we provide. We are not responsible for behaviour or discipline of children.

Please leave us some space to park in your driveway or in front of your home where we will not be blocked in. We appreciate easy access, as we have a lot of heavy items to carry into your party.

We welcome adult guests to view our parties, but please be aware that our hostesses find it difficult to engage children when they have to speak over the voices of the adults. Please respect your child’s event and our hostesses efforts by keeping the background noise level down.

Annabell’s Attic and its employees assume no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages including allergic reactions or any other medical reaction stemming from wearing of costumes, or any activity taken place before, during and/or after the party. We will provide you with the utmost in professional service including respect for your personal property. In the event of damage or loss of the property of Annabell’s Attic, fair compensation is expected from the client.  In the case of liability and/or financial remuneration due to any of the aforementioned, the responsibility lies strictly with the customer.

Annabell’s Attic may use pictures from our parties for promotional purposes on our website, brochures or publications after receiving permission from our client.

Every attempt is made to provide the supplies as indicated on our website, however, from time to time due to supplier issues, late stock arrivals etc., we may need to subsitute items.  In the event that this happens, we will use similar items in quality and value to replace unavailable stock.

Our package cost is based on 8 children including the guest of honor (there is a minimal cost for over 8 guests).  Less than 8 may attend, but you are still charged the package price. Please do not request an invoice adjustment if guests do not attend. Your party has been prepared based upon the guest list provided and we will gladly make revisions up to 12 hours prior to the party. Although a guest may not be in attendance our time has been invested preparing for the full guest list.  Please note that deposits are non-refunable.  Should a party need to be rescheduled we will do our best to find a suitable date and time for you, otherwise deposits will be held on file until such time as you can use the amount toward a party or camp.
